Lili Velo

Bilingual Author and Trauma-informed Speaker

Lili grew up in a country that was foreign to her parents. She experienced a lot of uncertainty at home, so school became her 'home away from home.' She went on to become a high school teacher and administrator, working with immigrants students for more than 15 years.

Carolyne Owala

"As a result of the trauma-infomred training our educators received, we were not only able to build our students' resiliency, but also empower our educators to create their own in-house Child Protection Policy to protect their rights."
